Durers fire monster
Can be seen in the bottom left corner of Durer's Apoclypse print, which can be seen at LINK:

I started by drawing the third biggest monster, then realized it could be eating itself, and drew all the other monsters around it.

The web does not do justice to the A3 orignal, at 200DPI is very pixilated, a compromise for speed of loading and file size.
Orignal was copied at 1-bit b/w as 2 X A4 then spliced together in a blank picture. This is the most original inspiration form Durer that
