RANCOR PIT MONSTER

This is a white metal model of the Star Wars rancor pit monster that was supposed to eat Luke Skywalker (he got away). The parts were glued together with superglue, joins filled with MILLIPUT and painted with matt enamel paints. The model is only 2 1/2 inches high and heavy. (solid metal). Probabaly not a licensed kit. Usefull as a paperweight.

There are several larger models on the monster avalible which are more detailed than this one. Manufacturer unknown. Purhcased in New Jersey. USA around 1993 or 1994. Many garage kit manufacturers made Star Wars models in those days. Models are photographed agains a black felt background with a NIKON P80 digital camera. 1 sec exp. Underexposed two stops to make the background disappear. BACK to AILEN list
